Eyeleting |

Eyelets are available in a range of diameters and lengths with colors of
brass, black or silver.
The Bindery commonly uses eyelets with a 3/16”, 7/32”
or 1/4" shank diameters (#6,7 or 8 Siska sizes) and lengths are
available in 1/32” increments up to 7/16”. The maximum thickness of
material should not exceed 3/8”

Auto taping |
|

Automated application of double stick tape utilizing multiple tape head
dispensers. Common widths of tape are ½”, ¾”, and 1”. Transfer tape is
often used to adhere specialty items, tags, or an extended cover onto
itself

This process is an excellent way to “dress up” a project. Round corners

One to five head drill capabilities on “in-line” or free standing
equipment allows us to efficiently drill catalogs or specialty
projects. 1/8”, 3/16”, 1/4”, 5/16”, 3/8”, 7/16” and 1/2” drill hole
sizes are available.

Cutting |
|

The Bindery
offers a variety of cutting and trimming capabilities including"
Guillotine cutters for press-sheet cutting, book-block
trimming and general book cleanup . We have 5 cutters ranging in
size from 45" to 54".
Signature trimming, either in-line 3-side for
perfect-bound books or in-line 4-side trimming of
signatures, for mechanical binding or for loose-leaf applications.

Shrink-wrapping |

Protect your product using plastic film packaging.
The Bindery has
fully automated and in-line capabilities to add this feature
to your bound book. We take great care in choosing the type of film and
the gauge so that your product is protected without being distorted.

Stitching and booklet-making |
|
|
“Saddle, Side and Corner Stitches”.
The Bindery has
both automatic and hand-fed equipment. The automatic equipment is great
for booklet making and stitching from flat sheets. The hand machines
are used for oversized books, extended covers, easels, or other complex
projects. Standard round wire, flat wire, and box stitch are available.
We can stitch up to 9/16” thick. |
